We are roughly 2 weeks away from our first internal build of Urb-Ops, and we’ve started setting out our list of cities we’re launching and when. Exciting!
As we’ll detail in future posts, launching a city for Urb-Ops actually involves a fair amount of work, so we’ll need to launch city by city. The below is our current list, though it’s obviously subject to change based on how many users from unlaunched cities sign up, sponsors in a given city or launch ambassadors (help us with the locale-specific issues around launching a city).
- Toronto Test: February 22-28th
- Toronto Alpha: March 1-31st
- Austin, South by Southwest: Mar 10-17th
- Austin Beta: April 1-30th
- Toronto Beta: April 1-30th
- San Francisco Beta: April 1-30th
- New York & Montrea Betal: May 1-30th
If you want your city launched sooner, or have ways of helping the game spread in your city, drop us a comment or a tweet to @UrbOps!
